■ Strategic Location (Perfect Base) Keiryuso Shiorie is a cozy, 8-room hot spring ryokan located halfway between historic Matsumoto and scenic Takayama. We are situated just a 1-minute walk to the shared taxi stand and a 5-minute walk to the "Bus Terminal for Kamikochi" (located in Sawando). It is the absolute perfect base for your journey into Kamikochi and the Norikura Highlands.We are happy to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out while you are out exploring.
■ Free On-Site Parking Service Guests can use our private parking lot for free on both your check-in and check-out days while you explore Kamikochi. Avoid the hassle and costs of crowded public parking. (Note: A 500 yen fee per night applies only if you are staying overnight inside Kamikochi national park.)
※It takes about a 10-minute walk from our second parking lot to the Sawando Bus Terminal.
■ "Breakfast Bento" for Early Departures
To help you beat the morning crowds, we offer a handmade Japanese breakfast box (Bento) instead of a dining-room breakfast for those heading to Kamikochi early in the morning. We hand over the Bento the evening before, so please reheat and enjoy it in your room before setting off. (Please request by the day before your stay.)
■ Absolute Tranquility After Your Hike After a day of alpine trekking, relax and unwind in our private hot spring baths or rooms with private foot-bath terraces. As we strictly do not offer day-use bathing for non-guests, you can enjoy a truly quiet, private, and exclusive atmosphere tailored just for our overnight guests.

There is a charge for the adjacent municipal parking lot. To avoid entering the wrong place, please refer to the video and do not go through the gate.

After getting off the bus, walk through the municipal parking lot to reach our main entrance. We offer free luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out, so you can travel light and fully enjoy exploring Kamikochi.

Intermediate Stop Available (Taisho Pond) You can hop off the bus early at Taisho Pond (Taisho-ike) to take a stroll, and then board a later bus to continue your journey into Kamikochi. National Park Gate At the National Park Gate, you can learn about Kamikochi’s rich history and essential guidelines for visiting the park before heading in.
