Soothing Natural Hot Springs to Restore Your Soul

Nestled in Matsumoto Azumi, Keiryuso Shiorie offers the gentle, healing waters of Sawando Onsen, deeply nurtured by the Northern Japan Alps. Our mineral-rich waters are perfect for soothing your muscles after a day of trekking in Kamikochi, exploring Norikura Highlands, or enjoying winter sports. Enjoy our unique hot spring facilities designed for your ultimate relaxation.

Free for Guests: Discover Our Unique "Private Cave Open-Air Bath"

We feature spacious gender-separated indoor public baths crafted with natural rock (a circulation and filtration system is used for hygiene management).
Crucially, all of our hot spring facilities are 【exclusively for staying guests】. Since we do not accept day-trip bathers, our 8-room hidden ryokan maintains a quiet, uncrowded, and serene atmosphere at all times. Many of our guests happily note that they rarely run into others, allowing for a deeply relaxing and private soak even in the public baths.

Remarkably, during the night 【from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM】, these large rock baths switch to a private-use system. This allows you to simply lock the door and enjoy a massive thermal bath completely to yourself. Escape the crowds and savor a peaceful soak in total comfort.

The washing area is thoughtfully lined with specialized Tatami mats that are water-resistant, completely slip-proof, and never get cold. By opening the large windows, you can let the refreshing mountain breeze in and transform the space into a luxurious semi-open-air bath.
